Make sure they actually have the same specs. Quite often, the actual hard drive or RAM that is put into them will differ quite a bit. You also want to make sure that they have the same “multimedia inputs”, wifi, bluetooth, all of this factors into the price and for some reason, the small PCs have it while the bigger ones don’t.
If you have the space for it, I would just get a bigger PC. It makes it significantly easier to upgrade as you don’t have to think of fitting the new component into the case. It will probably fit.
If you want it to look nice and neat on your desk, then a small PC is better.
Finally, all of this is dependent on the quality of the case. Cases get quite pricey and if you tend to open your computer, that can make a big difference for you.
The small PC for some reason will also (typically) cost more.
